Can anyone please suggest a NOC Code for Data Analyst in Life Sciences/Pharma industry?

Did you search the NOC database. If so what NOCs did you come up with.
Hello, thanks for your reply. Actually the data analyst shows NOC 2172 however the job is not related to IT. It's a pharma company wherein I have to work on the data being provided to me, on excel sheets. My duties does not include any experimentation etc. It's Data Review, Data Verification, Data Comparison, Documentation etc.
Can you please suggest which NOC can be the best fit? The other I had though of was 2211 but it has so many duties related to experiments and stuff, which I don't do.
You should care more about the description than the title itself. The Data Analyst NOC indeed refers more to IT stuff. I had a Data Quality Analyst job and went with the Research Officer NOC (can't remember the number itself but you can google it).
What's important are the duties your employers lists in the letter, this should mostly resemble those in your NOC.
Can you provide a list of your duties?
Data verification, documentation , verification .. I spent 10 minutes reviewing for you but I the only NOC that I can honestly equate it would be NOC 1422 which is a NOC C
Im hoping your duties are more broad than that and you can manage to strongly tie them to a NOC. If you're not sure you can; change your job. Not worth the risk.

Duties are as follows:-
1. Documentation of all training at the time of training.
2. Review of analytical data, including control charting according to QCP Chart.
3. Spreadsheet verification according to QCP Spreadsheet Checks
4. Data comparison for samples with multiple analysis being performed
5. Designated data analysts will perform approval of data in LIMS
6. Providing training to a=other data analysts/maintenance of training records for data analysts
7. Assist in ensuring turnaround time meets LIMS due dates by working overtime when required/authorized
8. Any other tasks as determined by Lab Manager/Process Owner.
Edu Reqd: B.Sc ideally in Chemistry or Mathematics, or any scientific/engg discipline or a 2 year Technician/3 year technology diploma
