Hi guys i wanted to ask if an accompanying spouse be changed to non accompanying if its not going to negatively impact the score post ita, thanks

Yea I guess. Why would you do this though as it's going to cause more issues later on if you want to sponsor.

Just a reminder that you would still need his/her medicals, PCC, and POF for two people (assuming no children and FSW applicant)

You mean if i will need all the documents even if she is not accompanying after ita correct

Except for proof of funds, changing it to non-accompanying would serve no purpose I believe. I guess there are many ways to tackle if POF is the real problem. I feel you are inviting more complications to your processing by taking this route. It is also going to cost a lot of unnecessary paperwork and stress in future through family sponsorship. PCC and medicals need to be done now as well as once more in future when you do family sponsorship. If you really don't want the spouse to accompany you, you could decline the invite and change the spouse to non-accompanying, and get invited in the next draw. It could be much simpler to do that.

I think you can still see decline button when you login. I haven't gone far with my application, so I see two buttons when I login.. Continue application and decline the invite. We can click the decline invite I guess.

Note that you must include your spouse and show POF for her regardless.

Even if i will decline the ita

Yes.

Since you're married even if you add her as non-accompanying you'll have to provide what has been stated already in other posts.

So if spouse is non accompanying will have to show pof for her as well,is that the only thing that i have to do or will i need pcc and medicals??? is there any way if she is not accompanying to show pof for one person only

Your spouse must complete the PCC and medical process. You must also show POF for your spouse. It doesn't matter whether your spouse is accompanying or non-accompanying. In both cases all of these things must be done.

There is no way for you to show POF for just one person unless you divorce her and drop her from your application completely. However if you do this, you'll never be able to sponsor her - even if you get remarried in the future.

If you only have enough POF for one person, you need to decline the ITA and wait until you have enough POF to cover two people.

First time I hear you need POF for spouse, especially if non-accompanying?? I saw only medicals, birth certificates, PCC, biographical data from passport, proof of work experience if claiming points.

Never ever saw it on any of the lists on the forum or CIC page.
