CAN A VISITOR CHANGE STATUS TO STUDY PERMIT AT THE BORDER?

I'm currently on a work permit in BC. I wanted to ask the experts to guide me if my son, who is a dependent child (18yr) can get a study permit at the border. If he gets an offer letter and acceptance letter from a good university?

or Does he have to go back and apply for a study permit.

How old is this info? They changed the rules a while back so you can apply from within canada.

Only under certain circumstances and if you meet specific criteria. Not everyone qualifies.

how long have you been to canada bro? how long have you been to canada. I wouldn't give false informations to misguide anyone. 9 out of 10 people need to apply it from their home country. Not on the border. Border guys are not opened to issue visas to anyone and especially something like study permit.
