have u been to calgary or lived there before? i suggest u land there and live in a motel or somewhere temporary for a few days then start to look for apartments to rent. there is hardly as far as i know, temp lodging for 1 month period, rentals usually come in min of 6 mths to 1 yr lease. So be prepared unless u stay in motel for a couple of days or weeks.

any suggestions????
Dear Sachin, Are you travelling alone or with family? If alone and have a tight budget, try finding room shares / room mates accomodation.

Cheers,

Hi Tapak,

I am landing with my family(2+2). They will be with me for 2 weeks time. I plan to stay near to downtown....so that i dont have to commute too much for processing my sin, etc.

So any places u know where i can stay for 2 weeks(reasonable n clean). I dont mind staying ina hotel since my stay is very small92 weeks) but I dont want a 5 star hotel ...instead I need a clean n reasonably furnished place which will make my family's stay comfortable.

Hi Sachin,

I haven't been to Calgary myself. Based on what I have heard, NW is good quadrant to live with plenty of accomodations. Please try craigslist or bwalk.com or other such sites for finding nice places. I have elementary and middle school going kids in US. Based on some further research, I have shortlisted Brentwood, Bowness and Varsity area. Typically, lease period is for one year, but you can try for shorter period.

Good luck.
