Calculating years of experience

While filling out my EE profile, I am confused on how to best represent my total number of years of experience. I have been employed full time for 1.7 years till now, and I am not sure whether I should put my total years of experience as one or two.

Another Question I have is, should I mention the 2 internships I had while I was pursuing my MS degree? I have read that an internship is classified under apprenticeship and hence it is not considered in calculating years of experience.

I have 1.7 years of foreign (in US) work experience.

For 3 yrs work experience it will be close to double of the 1 or 2 yr points
