Hi Everyone,

I just have a question.

I'm planning to put my last employment on the work history on my EE profile so I will also be eligible for CEC (currently under FSW).

So I basically have these work experiences:

Company 1: November 20, 2020 - May 1, 2021
Company 2: June 21, 2021 - September 24, 2021
Company 3: October 4 - Present

I calculated, I roughly only have around 800 hours, understanding 30 hours a week of work. Some weeks may even be lower because of holidays.

So my questions are:

1.) For company 2 & 3, I will be already putting them in EE. So once I update my EE, will it give me the points for canadian work experience so I will also be eligible for CEC? Or no?

I am under this impression since the system only asks for the month and year of your employment. So 12 months will be automatically 1560 hours regardless if you only work like 8 hours for certain weeks.

2.) I determined I might get my 1560 hours by April 2022 (again a rough estimate). So from Nov 2020 - April 2022, I already meet the criteria for CEC. But can I go ahead and submit my updated EE profile understanding I have met CEC because I basically worked from November 2020 - October 2021 (understanding I will get CEC because the systems count by months)? Then if IRCC asks me for details if I get ITA in the next few months, can I just continue working by accumulating the remaining hours to get to 1560, which is on April 2022? Will it be a problem that I submitted an application but the number of hours weren't really 1560 to start with but was eligible for CEC?
