really i don't know exactly how is Dhl work in Egypt, in Gaza you should go to their office to receive it, but it not far away

everyone asked the passport with other documents , why they asked me the passport only ???

that will drive me crazy !!

Are u sure they only asked for your passport? Maybe they already know your height and eye colour? Im not sure why they didnt ask for photos i can only assume either they already have one? But you should double check what the email says exactly. It seems all the requests to issue visas are pretty standard. Maybe it is different for Gaza applicants? You should not worry too much if they said your visa is ready. If there is some kind of mistake it can be fixed im sure.

We are still waiting, no news from the Embassy. We have been waiting so long we hoped once they ask for the passport it would be quick....but I guess nothing is done fast at the Embassy.


Sorry to see you are still feeling so stressed. Have you tried emailing them to see what is happening? If we don't get a call by next week that the passport is ready we will contact them.

I think usually for people that live in Egypt they will give you options, you can have it picked up in person or you can request DHL or any sort of courier to pick it up

they will tell you that once they send an email stating that your passport is ready... mine took about a week till they sent an email back saying it was ready

don't take my word for it im not too familiar with the process inside Egypt but last I heard they give you options to either pick it up or have it picked up

It could take up to 30 days to receive confirmation that your wife paid the right if perm residence fee so that could be what is taking so long. Mine was confirmed before they asked for the passport so i am surprised they asked for your passport before they received confirmation. They told me i had to pay mine first and when they recieved confirmation they would be ready to issue the visa.

Yes that helps. I will wait and see what the email says. Cairo is only 2 hours away my husband has no issue going to pick it up himself. It could be cheaper than getting DHL to pick it up. It costed 100 LE just to have it delivered!

really they put me in too much stress, some times i say i wish if they didnt request me the passport !

My wife paid the RPRF in September by her master card before more than 4 months, exactly when the Cairo office received the application ..

I don't know why the matters in Cairo like a turtle !!

Here is
Iam under family class sposorship ,, i did medical and paid ROPR after one year from sending the police certificate and copy of passports and other docs requires .
And in 8/2013 we sent travel history and declartion background. And in 28/1/2014 they required anew police certificate to cairo office .
Can any one tell me my situation and there is possible to get avisa in summer .?

We received our notes for this month and our secruity check is still in progress (it's been that way since october). Does anyone know if the due dates on these notes mean anything? We have two due dates in Feb. and I wonder if they mean that we will hear form them by then.

Mine was received in june 16 and wasnt startes in process til oct 29.2013
