kudrii they haven't asked for a second medical yet they did ask for a second police report ... what I am wondering tho is that, if you are a Feb 2013 applicant why would they ask for a second medical ? yours hasn't expired yet .....

by the way, when did they request the second medical ?

They requested approximately two weeks ago.. And unfortunately our medicals expired in August

All we could do it wait from now I guess. I wanted to order another GCMS notes this month. Hoping they will look more into our files if we do so. lol

great news guys on my wife application

DHL has collected my wife passport with the immigration visa two days back from the canadian embassy in cairo.
the whole process took less than 5 months which is unbelievable.

Application sent june 9th
received by embassy on july 19
started processing on oct 28
visa issued on november 18th.

Wish all the best for every body waiting for their visa.

That is amazing news!! God make our processes as smoothly as yours went. Good luck with the transition to Canada!
Did you guys do anything to maybe help with your processes? A lawyer? Assistance from the local MP? GCMS notes?

we did not get help from any body. i just made sure to submit the application in an organize matter and made sure all supporting documents were submitted. thats about it.
but i have to admit from reading this form, i think God and luck were the reason it was processed in a short period.
i read an article few days back that canadian embassies are taking measures to accelerate application process.

again i do hope your application well be processed very soon and every body in this form as well.

I have sent the ticket copy through to the embassy and will send them some new pics as soon as I have. I've also put together some chats and screenshots of our FB communications in hopes this will help move things along.

I never heard of this, but then again, the GCM notes are like trying to decipher some kind of crazy code.. wish I could help :-\

"Dear Madam,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

We are pleased to inform you that your file is now ready for visa issuance. In this regard, you are requested to send us the following documents by courier only (such as DHL, TNT, Aramex, etc):

(X) 2 recent photos for you. Photo specifications attached.

(X) Original/valid passport for you to enable us to issue your immigrant visas. Please note that each member of your family should have his own separate passport.

(X) Please indicate on a separate sheet the height and colour of eyes."


i do have a question, what do they mean by the last requirement in regards to the height and the colour of eyes??

does it have to be in a certain format ?

Congrats,

you just need to type it on a paper, VO will enter this information in your COPR and later it will appear in the back of your PR card. You can call it extra information for "identifying" you as a person.

Nothing to worry about, just give them accurate info
