If we plan to order GCMS notes but we have a lawyer, does it make a difference or is there something different I need to do? I know my lawyer isn't that great and he will tell me to wait a few months but I want to order them myself, so can I do that even though I have a representative, and do I need to note that down anywhere in the form when I order GCMS notes?

Dont wait, I sent in my order on Monday... waiting will just prolong everything as it takes up to 1 month to receive the notes.

Dear all

I started the sponsership for my wife since one year but the Immigration answerd my that i couldn't sponser h er because i didn't toled that i am maried when i becamed a permenant resident and they send the file to a visa office to see the file again and take a finale decision , but told that i send a fax to the embassy one month before the landing , i don't have the recet of this fax , i am egyptian and she too .
Could some help me because i am waiting for the decision since 5 month's ??!

look you r rejected and refused according what you said but i can tell why they delay you till now or exactly why they sent your file to cairo visa office or Canadian embassy in cairo bcz you n your wife when you were filling your application you wrote and choose the choice of proceeding your file even if you got refused for sponsorship i remember that choice and it was that or withdraw so you guys you choose to continue and that why they sent your file to cairo visa office
but about why rejected ? according to you have say here i think they considered it as big reason to refused you because you know lying about information and you may be may be and i hope not that will effect your legal position in Canada and i really hope not bcz you may be remove out of Canada
Remember—you are responsible for all the information in your application. It is against the law to give false or misleading information to Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

If the information on your application is false or misleading, this is against the law and you may be refused entry to Canada or be deported from Canada after you arrive.

The CIC web site says they started processing the "Permanent Residence Application Status" for my wife on Apr 30, 2013. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to hear bake from them?

Hope the best for you. I think soon they will finish your file. Did they ask you for interview ?
When you applied ?
I want you to know time is different from case to case. So u just wait and inshallah Allah it will be ok soon

Thanks for that, I filed the application late April 2012, returned to me for some additional info and resubmitted late May 2012. Got approved from Canada July 27, 2012 and waiting since then. ALLAH KAREEM
