Hi everyone in this form , I Received email from the visa office on 23/9/2013 requesting from me to send my passort for visa issuance . Then today I have been called by DHL to collect my passport , I opened the passport and Finally I found the shiny visaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Thanks god thank for everyone in this forum , really it is a loooooooooong wayyyyyy.

I received this email from cairo office. Iam exited to the point where i do not really believe that the process went so fast but need to conform this by you guys.

Received the following e-mail:

Kindly be advised that we are now ready to proceed with the issuance of the visa. Therefore, please proceed with the submission of recent photos as per the attached instructions and the passport in order to finalize the file.

does this means the application is approved ?

Application sent with medical in may/2013
Received on june/2013
Started Processing october/2013
Requist for Passport on November/2013

i just found out that we have almost same dates as our application was recieved at 14th of november 2012,and we got the AOR at 23th of november,and medical has been recieved,and nothing since it. so i was seeking for support and i found that we are in the same circumstances and dates as well,so do u have any updates.
i will greatly appreciate any replay

1 should i sign all the forms and the explanation attachments?
2 should my sponsor (egyptian and got a canadian citizen )send his birth certificate and his canadian passport he send his citicenship certificate only?
3 how can i organise the fileand where can i put our proofs of relation. with 5490?
4 from anyone attended an cairo interview what is better to pass it. in arabic or in english?

Hello,

I am an Egyptian-Canadian currently in Egypt. My boyfriend and I plan on getting married then living together in Canada. We would like to have the wedding there. How should we go about this? I read that if he manages to get a tourist visa and we marry, then apply for sponsorship, they could perceive this as him lying on his tourist application since he wouldn't have mentioned me. Could this cause them to reject our sponsorship? And if so, what other options are there?

once he is in canada and you guys get married then apply to sponsor him within canada,
you are on the right track i guise. He is at the end a husband of a canadian citizen.

Would he have to go back to Egypt after his tourist visa ends even if we are married? Would it look bad to the officers processing our spousal application if he doesn't? If we apply inland and get rejected, there is no appeal, so what would happen? Also, if we get a civil marriage in Egypt and begin the sponsorship process from there, will that help his chances of getting a tourist visa to visit me in Canada?
