They have replied me next day.

the cheque passed in the bank yesterday. So I guess the processed it right??

If I sent that lady an e-mail about 5 minutes ago, I guess I will probably receive an answer on monday. Hopefully the strike will not finish so she is going to tell me to wait it over mail :(

If you read this whole thread, you'll see that I did the same, just gotta keep pushing.....

Does anybody have answer to the following? Really appreciate your response:

Got CAIPS note by email this morning (8:04am); still cracking the codes.
Do you know what is means:
" Paper file sent to: PAB BF File to: PAB on 26-06-11"--this is mentioned bottom of almost all pages ( total 9 pages)

I looked at previous post on CAIPS quickly but did not get abb.. of PAB; BF is probably the bring forward date.

More to read...

I got an answer from the lady:

"Hello,

Your file is due for release on June 27, right now is in the review process and yes we can e-mail it to you on the due date. I just made a note to your file in that regard.
Thanks!

Regards,

Ok, what does she mean by "review process"? I thought it was a screen shot of the computer system?

U see that you got a quick reply.

I was told the same thing (review). I think they review the forms you sent to make sure they are providing the information to the right person.

Hi! I think they usually don't send the caips file as is - they review it - security and safety reasons and can also delete some info they think is not under the privacy act.

Thanks Brin. I used that thread to crack all codes since morning, very useful thread I must say. But did not find the meaning of PAB;

Likely the initials of the visa officer who's supposed to review your file at the Bring Forward date.

Thanks.
Next week will be one of the longest weeks of my life.

I applied from Quebec and CSQ will expire in August; still medical to be done for my parents. There is no way that they will get visa and land before that.

If they land on Ontario, do they have to have a valid CSQ? Or they must land in Montreal (mentioned as destination city in CAIPS).
Renewing CSQ will an extremely difficult task.

They say it takes abt 30 days. But I've seen people getting theirs in like 2 wks...with a bit of pushing ofcourse.

Not sure if u hv a contact.

Here is a lady who was very nice and helpd me. I just sent my req last Friday.

Monique.Guindon @ cic.gc.ca

Phone: 613-957-6938

Try calling and asking abt the status of ur report.

Hi, I am just curious to know how you got in touch with her? Did you called the 1-800- number and talked with an agent?
In this thread someone has mentioned that there is "something else" that can be used to pay the fee. Can you please elaborate as I am also looking into CAIPS information for our application.
Thanks
