Caips how to order

Hi all,

Firstly I want to say that I did a search inside the forum, but I don't found clear answer to my question :

Me and my wife did an out-land spousal application, my wife (sponsor) lives in Canada and me (applicant) abroad.
Now my wife wants to request the electronic Caips notes to know better the status of our application!

(N.B. : To access and retrieve information from ecas portal, we have to use the client id number of our application and fill the other boxes with my wife information (in fact with my data no file has been found))

We have some doubts how to compile the IMM5563 form
Section A
1) Privacy Act
2) English
3) E-mail
4) Yes

Section B
Under the "Electronic files" section, we have to check "Status of an application" or "Permanent Residence"?
Moreover, we do not have a File number but only a Client ID number!

The caips notes that will be delivered via e-mail will include the global status of the application (sponsor + applicant) or only the part that belongs to the sponsor?

Has your wife received sponsorship approval yet? If so, there is an Application Number on the approval. Use that.

Two weeks are already passed; please nobody knows the processing time for CAIPS electronic version sent via e-mail ?
