Just got my CAIPS notes and was wondering what the following meant:

FILE BF'd TO: RET ON 9/10/12.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The file will Brought Forward to an officer, whose initials are RET on on 9th of Oct/12, unless something arrives on the file before then.

Not long after I received the CAIPS, I got a request from CIC to submit additional documentation which they have requested I submit before March 12th.... Does that mean that they would not look at these documents until October 2012 or would they bring forward that date when they receive the documents?

The date when the requested documents arrive on the file, then they will look at the file.

Just received an updated GCMS notes and was hoping for some help in understanding a few things:

1. The Due Date that is listed is still saying June 2012 even though the file was updated in October 2012
2. I can see in the notes section where they have received my documents (business returns, police certificates etc which was submitted in Aug 2012) and it seems that they have been interpreted correctly, however nothing is noted in any of the other areas of the file.
3. The only other noticeable change is that in the paper notes under "status" it has changed from "general" to "eligibility"

Any idea how long it would be before we hear from CIC or how long before we should order another set of notes?
