Hi

I am a postdoc and wang to apply to cec.

However, my payment is in the form of fellowship/bursary.

The university told me that in their reference letter they can only
write the salary, etc but cannot write my working hours at all.

My contract has no hours.

Can i still apply?

I don't know how it works with a T4A, but Contact Service Canada and see if you can get your ROE(record of employment), may be it will show your hours. Look at the nominee programs for all provinces and see which suits you best.

If you can maintain a single thread for your questions, that would help!

In reference to your current question/concern, your professor is the one to provide your reference letter on a university letterhead - not the university (HR). You must have had a contract with job description and expected number of hours prior to accepting your job (this letter is a pre-requisite for securing work permit if you're from a visa country). Discuss with your professor to get a recent copy of similar letter ensuring all requirements for CEC reference letter are specified.

My offer letter only mentioned the total amount of annal salary.
No hour was mentioned.

I cannot apply to other classes like skilled worker, PNP.

My only hope is CEC, but I cannot get the total hours.

What can i do

What you can do is to calm down and read through suggestions in your thread. If you are a postdoc as you stated, then the suggestions in my previous comment is exactly what you need to do. Postdoc is generally a full-time position so I don't understand why you keep repeating the same problem and ending with 'what can I do?' without stating why you cannot do what is apparently straightforward.

were u working as a part time full time or casual??? if u worked variable hours, u might prove ur hours by showing all ur paystubs and ur reference letter have to state whether u were part timer or full time or casual. without paystubs, and no mention of working hours, there will be no way cic will figure out ur number of hours and this might create an issue. For myself, i worked both part time and casual and my letters stated my hours, i also included all my paystubs to support it.

My postdoc is full time, and I get paystubs bi-monthly.

However, my supervisor and the university say that they cannot write how many hours I work
on the reference letter.

My payment is from a scholarship, and no working hour information at all.

If they have to write, they can only write zero.

My degrees are not Candian.

How can I apply for CEC without knowing how many hours I have worked?

can ur supervisor write that u worked full time??? if u worked full time, they don't need to write the total number of hours worked, they only write ur hours per week. if not u might include ur paystubs, if ur paystubs lack number of hours worked, then u might need legal advice here. all the best
