Bunac Work and Intern Canada

Hi all,

Hope everyone's doing well!

Was wondering if anyone's done this Work and Intern program by Bunac? They supposedly secure a Work placement in Canada for you that is lets you gain skilled experience.

I'm unsure how credible it is, I've heard mixed reviews some say its amazing, some say its terrible others say it's completely up to you and what work placement you find.

I'm looking to gain Canadian work experience and move on the IEC visa for 2 years.

My understanding is that the experience is largely dependent on the opportunity you find yourself.

All IEC programs are currently on hold due to COVID-19 and not issuing invitations at this time. I believe this extends to Bunac. There's no ETA on this time on when invitations will resume.

As in do you mean the work placement has to be found by the participant without any help from Bunac?

Yeah, I don't aim to do IEC until next year.
