Thanks a lot Ruby...going right now and tomorrow passports will be sent out...

superboy,
there is the instructions that we have to supply the return envelope if we are in Canada, and the envelope should be in Canada Post’s Xpresspost - National service. However, do you know if we also have to this kind of envelope when we send the passports to this visa office?

or can we just use the regular envelope?

I think if you don't send a canadapost xpresspost return envelope, they will send your passport back via regular mail. Good thing about Xpresspost is that you can track if your passports are on its way back, you can track it so it's less likely that it will get lost (?) or at least you will be able to know where it is.

Rubyalabur,

got it. if I send by xpresspost, means I should use this envelope. anyway, I must send xpresspost and get the tracking number, passports are so important that we don't want to take a risk to lose them.. in the email, it didn't ask us to include the PPR email, how do you know it ?

Oh, it was in my PPR email that LA sent. Maybe Buffalo is different, that is if your PPR email did not mention to send a copy of the email.

Congrats 4mfamily!!!

this the exact same question I was going to ask. Does the envelope where we put our passports to send them to port erie must have same size as the one they ask for return. My thingking on this is this is not a requirement...

allow my foolish question.. i assume I do not need to attach our work permit inside our passports, right?

We encourage you to use Canada Post's Xpresspost-National service for the submission of your application and passport. You should also provide a pre-paid Xpresspost-National envelope for the return of your passport.

Purchase two prepaid 24 x 32 cm (no smaller) Xpresspost - National envelopes at any Canada Post retail outlet (do NOT purchase " Xpresspost - USA" envelopes)
Use one to send your application package to us; the second is for us to return your passport and supporting documents.
Complete the mailing label on the return envelope showing your full mailing address in the "Deliver To" field and the Fort Erie Post Office box address (below) in the "Return Address" field.
Make a note of the tracking number for each envelope.
Send your application, passport, supporting documents and the return envelope to:
Canadian Consulate General
Immigration Regional Program Centre
P.O. Box 660
Fort Erie, Ontario
L2A 6R6

Taking advantage of our proximity to the Canadian border, we have made arrangements to have your application package and passport collected in Canada. Your passport and supporting documents will be mailed back to you from Canada.

hehe. Of course, NO. You are just about to become a Permanent residence. Forget about WP. Those things have already been reviewed, processed and they do not need it.

Oh God - Its freaking MARCH and yes, I do remember last march when I applied! I need to take my freaking Paternity Leave and go for 6 months Vacation and this thing is just delaying it.... I have to take this before our baby is one year old!...

I forgot who asked me to check the Ecas today, I just checked it and it has been updated with " Medical results have been received"...
thanks. for people who are going to send the passport , how can you take a note for the eye color and height, do you write down on a sheet ?

Congrats superboy_ec & 4mfamily.

4mfamily: I attached a paper stating height & eye color.

Good luck

Yes, passports on their way...now seat and wait...
