superboy,

are you already in Canada? just share to me what you will do.

I will go to take photos, and then put them together with our passport and send ? right?
and i will send by registered mail, just by post office, not any UpS, right?

Congratulations on the PPR 4mfamily! The long wait is finally over :)

4mfamily - Can you do this for me:

What does your ECas say today?

Can you check it by the end of the day tomorrow (Tuesday) and see what it says?

Thanks for the help.
If I were you I would not send it by registered mail because the address of the Fort Erie is just a mailbox number which means if it reaches by evening, and there is no one in the Office Canada Post will take it back and this might delay it by a day or two. I would just send if by Express Mail in this way you have tracking number and it reaches in 4 - 5 days. Cheers and enjoy the achievement.

but if just concern if i don't send registed post, if it will be lost...

Whatever makes you more comfortable - Do that. Sure, go ahead with a registered mail. You can simply add a signature for $1.50. WIll that make it a registered. That should suffice. I personally am comfortable with tracking and Express Mails. Never had any issues.

thanks Sept 15.

wow, if we make photos in costco, it is so expensive, just $ 6.99 for two. when I applied our application, we took the photos by ourselves and develop them thru a software..

I've always used Express mail as well and haven't had any issues..for me normally takes 1~2 days to get to buffalo. And here in Canada 1 day.. but my question here is. how the return envelop works, I guess I'll just have to ask in the post office about it and that's it...

Sorry guys, but I won't take the risk of sending photos that don't meet the requirements...is the final stage so this is an investment for your and your family's future, I take it that way so it is not a waste of money...just my 2 cents. If someone wants to go that route that is fine but I won't do it...

Super - Two things to make sue of: 1) Right size of the return envelope (Its in the Buffalo website - they do not like the very small package). They have a minimum size that they ask for. 2) Write down your address on the envelope and take with you the tracking number.

The way it works - Canada Post provided Express mails ONLY for within Canada mailing. Since your package goes to Port Erie then trucked to Buffalo and then it comes and gets mailed out from Port erie and NOT Buffalo, you are good. The pacakages are trucked from Port Erie and to Port Erie by Consulate. This is why they asked you to send it to 1) Port Erie and 2) Express Mail.

In short, make a note of tracking number and your Express Mail is for within Canada and NOT USA Express (return envelope of that does not exist).

Clear?

100% with you. If we have spent 2080 dollars, 12 Dollars will not make us Poorer. I will make sure that they meet the requirements and not be cheap here.

For all those whose timelines are close to mine, and whose file is stuck in Buffalo, I received my CAIPS Notes yesterday. The only information I could gather is my file bring forward date is 03.01.11. ( Considering others ahead of me have not received their pprs, I doubt they will keep to this schedule). File shows my medical results have been received, RPRF paid, and my IA date. No decision yet on background check
