Yes, I'm loving the weather now unlike when we first arrived! We went from 25C in the Philippines when we left to a -20C when got here in Regina, quite a shock... Looking forward to summer and spending time outdoors.

Good luck with the landing!

Thanks for the info. Again, the photo issue is still blurry but I shall make it clear before we leave.
Boring? hehe. Yes, I will not be alone, my wife and baby will be with me. Moreover, I have drove all over Saskatchewan because of my job - so that should be okay... know what to expect.

I hope you are enjoying the spring. Summer is beautiful in Regina but Saskatoon is better. hehe. I did my undergraduate at the U of R...

Just wanted to update, we received our passport this morning.

The passport reached Buffalo on March 1st and they mailed it back to us on March 18th.

Hi GPM,

We did our medicals in Oct 4 and were received by Buffalo on Nov 14, 2010 (precisely).
It usually takes a month - 1.5 months for Buffalo to receive them. If you have done medicals in Sept 2010 - they MUST have received them. You need to contact Ottawa if they have forwarded the medicals to Buffalo. Same thing happened with us. My wife's name was written differently on the medical form and Ottawa would have never forwarded them to Buffalo if we did not inquire. We talked with Ottawa first week of Nov and they said the name of my wife is different than Buffalo has so they never forwarded them to Buffalo until we told them to do so.

Thanks

Sept15 Thanks for your advise. I will follow up with Ottawa, good luck on your landing !

Josephdadreamer, Untill now I did not receive anything from Buffalo since i sumbit my medicals. I just went back from my home country so leave Canada for two months..I am going to follow up with them.
Another question for you, how long have you been waiting since CIC processing your case(only federal level), not mention the time nomination by provincial level. thanks for your reply

Question about the medical exam notice

Hi, guys

I am really getting big help from you guys thanks, in advance.
Just one thing curious. I think I have heard that Ottawa mails if they receive the medical result from the clinic.
Is this true or not?
I did my medical on the first week of Feb, and did not get any mail yet.
So, I was wondering whether what I've heard is true or not.
You guys are way more ahead than me for immigration. So, please tell me if you know anytying about it.
Thanks. Have a good day..

Hello Strawbar, normally CIC does not send mail/e-mail confirmation. That's not a regular practice for them. They may or may not update your Ecas and reflect that on-line. I never received anything from either Otawa/Buffalo after sending anything to them.

Hey Straw,

Yes, this question was not addressed to me! hehe but here is my response:

IA = Initial assessment letter. After the Immigration Officer does a review on your file to see if there is anything missing in the file they will send you this letter. Basically, this letter tells you if 1) You need to go through an Interview or Not 2) Submit RPRF if you have not done it 3) You might need to send additional documents, if misssing.

You usually get this after you have done your medicals. from what we have seen you will get your PPR 3-4 months after you receive your IA letter. AGAIN, this is NOT a mandatory letter - Not everyone receives it. SO, if you have not received it, you might never receive it.

MEDICALS - Email, CIC Buffalo (general Email) and ask them if they have received your medicals. Wait for 2 months after you have done your medicals.
Thanks.

Hi, Sep15

God will bless you , Thank you so much..!!!

Hello Everyone,

After reading last several posts, I have a question. Since we I receive medical form, I seems to see sth on the back says the medical form has to be sumbit within 6 months after receving it. So that means, if Baffulo did not recive it in 6 months, they will automatically contact with you, Is not it?????

....I might be wrong, but I did remember the back of medical form says sth about time constraint....

Appreciate with anyone's reply on it
