Shoot them an email on March 15 - I guess 2 weeks will be sufficient on final review? Any thoughts?

Sept15, why waiting 2 weeks, shoot them an email next week, I used to do that, every week used to send an email. By the way, passports delivered this morning...start the countdown..

hehe. You think so. I am afraid if this might affect the processing... Okay, from your encouragement, I will shoot them an email a week after and NOT 2 weeks after - If they get upset, I will tell them my Vancouver dude told me to do so... lol.

you have the right, you are paying and there is nothing wrong with following up plus you are at the final stage so, don't sweat it. send them an inquiry if they don't like it they don't answer, otherwise they will... just my 2 cents... look at me, it did not hurt...

that is right, but you have to also consider that each individual case is different treatment, also depends on the volume from one officer to another so, would say yes but there are other factors that may affect the processing time...

I email CIC on feb 18, saying that its been more than 11 mons (avg processing time at that time), & req status update...
CIC replied feb 19th...."Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete."

so, I am waiting....

I just checked the post office and my passports are on the way .. just so excited to do the landing.

hey Vbom - similar letter was also requested for my wife in Nov 2010 and was aksed to pay RPRF in the same letter - it was the IA letter, dated Nov 18, 2010.

Till now we all in this forum are WAITING...

I guess Buffalo Office is now close and Monday is a Holiday...Good luck my friends, next week - Keep your hopes High.

I sent the docs to them on Monday - don't tell me I have to wait a few months as well. My medicals expire in August!

It will be 4 months in 2 weeks!
What did they ask you to send? Did that come with an IA? If yes, then how many days did they give you to provide that...When was their letter./IA dated? I am sure they have provided you with certain number of days - that most probably will be your BF'D...

you mean, e-mail?..I don't think they will send an email if passports are on their way back. When did you send them?....just want to make my math...

NO - DO not wait for a regualr postal mail for the Passport request message that you have received through Email. PPR are only sent through Emails. No regular mail will follow.

Super - 4mfamily meant if the PPR email that you folks received are also sent by regular postal mail and the answer is NO.
