Please do answer me if you experienced this or heard from someone who did it. I already sent my passport for visa stamping last August 30. Im on working permit right now. Im here in New Brunswick and my fiancee is pregnant and she's in Edmonton, Alberta. She's PR and we didnt get married yet coz Im still waiting for my PR. Im going to Edmonton this last week of September. Im planning of resigning my current job here in New Brunswick. The question is, could I resign from my current job/work permit eventhough my passport with visa is not yet with me? When is the best time to file resignation? When my COPR is already confirmed or by the time that I received my passport with visa? Im afraid that the border officer will ask me about my work permit or my work. Another question, could we get married after my confirmation of permanent resident done in the border? Or do I need to wait for the PR card? Thanks! I appreciate all your suggestions or conments or answers.

Hang in there. You are not alone in this journey. I can't really say don't worry because I am worried for my case as well. Be patient although I know it's very hard :)

in my opinion, before you land, don't resign your current job as your work permit is valid until you land.

And you can get married at any time you want.

Good luck. ;D

Does anyone here able to track how long after the RPRF has been paid, did you get a passport request? My RPRF has been send to immigration last June 15, it was just paid last week sept. 7, but i have not receive any passport request yet.

Hi everyone, Is their anyone here who went to the visa office personally for visa stamping? I'm planning to authorize my cousin. Is it possible?
