Guys,

I asked them about the status of my application and they responded this:

"We are waiting for extensions to your medical results. This usually takes 4 to 5 weeks. You will be contacted when we have a response from our medical office. Please do not contact us in the intervening time."

Is this good news? Note that we did our medical exams october last year.

I still not receive it, I called CIC yesterday, they told me I will not receive my PR card until end of November as I landed on 22Aug12. very slowly.

ur in the country though now right, and you can come and go?? Have you been able to do your carecard and SIN and all that, or do you have to wait for your card?

As I was holding study permit and work permit before, so I just use my landing paper to renew my SIN and Care Card, they are all done already, but the driver's liscense I need the PR card to renew as I just passed Class 5 (in vancouver).

And I can not come back to Canada without PR card if I visit back to my country.

But anyways, its okie la, I will not leave Canada in a short time, now I am applying my parents's visitor visa, I contacted CIC, they told me I can only use my landing paper to apply them, so its okie then. LOL
