Hi Cygnet, i was not asked for a police clearance. Only for my wife who is still in our country. Ive been here in Canada for about 5 years. Some of the people with the same timeline received thier ppr in less than a month. I dont know what's happening now with mine. How about you?


hi, I'm about to send my authenticated NBI form #5 to my representative in the Phil., I'm not sure though if she can get NBI Clearance for me in Bicol or does she have to go to the main branch of NBI at Taft Ave. Ermita, Manila. Do you or anybody in this forum know wether your representative could get NBI Clearance in your behalf at your respective NBI regional and district offices or is it just at the NBI Ermita, Manila?

Hi you can get it from the regional offfice of the NBI. If your giving it to a representative, just make an authorization letter allowing your representative to get the nbi clearance on your behaf.

Hi BK11 we also sent our passport august 28 and then they receive it august 29.. up to now the tracker is not yet activated so it means it is still in their office.. its been 13 days now...

They received them but they never processed them. In August 2013 I got an email with request for medical and other forms to be updated. I did not receive the medical forms so I emailed them. They sent me the forms by email but there is not a form for our newborn. So I emailed them back and said you did not send one for our baby. They have not responded since. I emailed them all the forms I originally sent for my baby. The payment form was included too. They have not charged my credit card for the fee until today. Should I contact them again? Any advice is appreciated.

Hi, i would just like to ask if those who got PPR, wrote name on the back of the photograph needed alongside with the passport?

hi anthony1970, according to the link provided in the PPR email, photos should be placed in a small envelope with no staples/paper clips and the name of the applicant should be written on the envelope.

today when i checked my e cas status they added the 4th line ,,,,the status changed from application received to in process and after medical received line 4th line is:

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on September 9, 2013.

Anyone plz tell me what does this mean ?????????is it a good sign ....m bit worried,,,,,is it common??????

Hi guys, my ecas status shows Decision Made and a 4th line has been added "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.".
We received passport request on Sep 9th which we will be sending on next week..
