Hi Guys,

I need a few input. I got a letter for Buffalo, asking for "Work and Residence History since January 2009 to Present" ?

Does anybody have received that kind of letter?

Do you think I need to submit Additional Documentation to prove my answer on that question, or just answer that question?
(As Prove I mean things like electric bills, cable bills, etc)

Hi rhap33,

This is the first time I am hearing this, but you might not know with what CIC requests everytime. But this should be a real problem, think they want to see that you are presently employed and are living in the US if you have shown so in your documents/experiance. Just send them an experience letter from your present company and your rental agreement as proof that should take care of their request.

My brother had to provide that info for his immigration to prove that he had lived in Canada legally for over a year even before he had applied for immigration. You can get points for that.

He provided copies of his driver's license, tax assessment and pay stubs - all of which are acceptable proof of address for any government agency or business in Canada. He also provided copies of his transcript from a Canadian University showing that he was taking courses in Canada throughout the year - proving he was living in Canada throughout the year.

I suppose you can also provide copies of your utility bills with your name and address on them; that is if you have them.

Just curious about your file - are you currently living in Canada or do you have an arranged employment in Canada?

hi,

where do you live? are you FSW1 applicant.

I have applied on Sept '01/09 and If i have to show those docs, I dont have anything to show.

I think you applied within Canada....is that right?
 
I want to believe that your application is being worked upon.The request is an update information.What is your timeline.

I am FSW1, Currently living in US.
I applied to Nova Scotia on January 2009
Got repplied from Nova Scotia on February 2009
My full application to Buffalo was on April 2009
Got AOR from buffalo on May 2009. Status on E-case changed to "RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE"
Got Request from Buffalo for those additional documents on February 2010. Status on E-Case changed to "IN-PROCESS"
