I know whatever has happened to our files because of the Buffalo closure was injustice, but don't lose patience, take care guys, hope everyone will get it soon.
Congrats! I will cry on that day, too.

Congratulations mybadluck! I certainly would feel same way like you did if I get the magic email but hey you have given me hope for we have the same timeline! I am a june 2011 applicant and 1st medical was done last november 2011 haven't heard anything until the request last feb 12 to re do medicals, personal history, and pay for RPRF which we did last March 1st as well. However, my ecas status did not change to "in process" till march 21st. I don't know how long the wait is.. I emailed them this morning just asking about my status. I'd be lucky if they get back to me but one can only hope. This whole process is very very frustrating. But I am glad I found this forum at least I know I am not alone on this journey! Again congratulations!

Got the golden Email yesterday night. Saw it today morning. We received PPR after 21 months of wait!!!

My timeline is:

Application: july 2011, meds done/recvd: November 2011. Went into processing February 2013.

They asked for FBI certificate for my husband on February 26th 2013, sent to them and received on April 5th. Got PPR today.

I would like to thank everyone for your help during these tough times, and all the very best for those waiting. I know how it feels.

Thank you very much. And slight correction as most are monitoring the time line:

My Re-medical was March 13, 2013 and
PPR is on April 26, 2013.

Again, good luck to all...

Thank you for the good wishes.

My e-cas got updated today to "Decision made".

Hi,

I am sending our passports to Ottawa from the US, so any suggestions?

I am using priority mail to send passports, which I will be able to track, but how will CPP ottawa send it back to us? I cannot include prepaid return envelope since I am not based in Canada. So how to track passports once CPP send them back?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks a lot!
