BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

I tried to reach out to them twice in past but it was a standard reply from them asking to wait patiently.

- Confirmation of Permanent Residency received directly by letter from Ottawa without passport request 27/02/2013 HAPPY but wrong passport number on the document

Now waiting the correction... I'm fed up with waiting... almost 22 months

Hello Guys,

I am under QSW category. I am still waiting for my medical from past almost 12 months. I have not received any communication except the file number from CPP-O

Applied to Federal (sydney) - March 2012
AOR - April 2012 ( Only AOR, No Medical request was part of it)
File Transferred to Ottawa - May 2012
Medical - Waiting, Waiting and Waiting

Is there anyone in similar boat (waiting for medicals!!)??

It's Ok, it seems for people how applied in March 2012 they didn't send medical. Are u outside of Quebec?

Your application for immigration to Canada is is process at this office in New York City.

Kindly complete the following forms (IMM8, Schedule A and Family Composition form) to update the file.
Your spouse must complete the same forms as well.

You may download the forms, complete them and send them back to us as an attachment.

Thess forms should be done in your application package since you sent them to CIC. Why they need them again?

I had already filled them out in Sept or Oct of 2010 when i applied for the first time. i found it weird too.

Guess what happened, I sent them an email and 2 hours later at 9.50 p.m. O.O, I got the ppr email. what a relief, thank you everybody on this forum for your help and input, and good luck to all those who are still waiting, I waited for 25 month (Since feb 2011) and they only contact me twice, on August 2011 to do the medical and yesterday with the PPR. I know how stressful it can be, so hang in there and stay positive.

All principal applicants who submitted applications before this date should have received a communication from the Case Processing Pilot – Ottawa office. If you have not received any instructions or updates from CPP-O and you fall within this group, please contact the Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100 with your name and file number (if known). "

Yes called CIC call center. Their first reaction was like "ooh we dont know" ... however the call center agent told that he is going to send a note to their partner (may be he meant CPP-O)

One thing is for sure... call center agent was not sure of this note in FAQ by CPP-O...

I called the number above and the call center agent kept on saying the same dumb thing, "Sorry sir but we don't have any information on the cases/files which are being processed outside Canada, i can surely send you an email of the website which has the contact information for the processing center."
