I think medical exams can only be extended if they have been done within 15 the previous months. There is a link to the operation bulletin somewhere in this topic.

I read that on the CIC website.
Still can't access my online status.
Oh well. We're almost halfway through February. Not long to go til we hear something.

It depends, if he applied under Job Offer stream - he would likely be asked for proof of employment. If he didn't he should be Ok in either case he should inform PNP.

PNP can favor if your friend was laid off however if they left the job - its totally upto to PNP whether or not to favor. In either case informing PNP is good idea.

They did not favor in my case last year.... I got lay off last year in Feb and I was asked to find a new job asap by PNP

This process is limited to applicants who had a routine immigration medical examination (IME) done by a panel physician within the last 15 months in or outside Canada. The new medical certificate issued will be valid for 12 months.

They did not favor in my case last year.... I got lay off last year in Feb and I was asked to find a new job asap by PNP

That's kind of favor too buddy, usually you are stuck with one employer when you apply under PNP job offer stream.

I have same problm like you. I cant access my ECAS last 10 Days. I am bit tenced. I dont should i send them email or wait until 28th fevruary. Please be advice.

I have the same problem. I haven't been able to access my Ecas. Apparently there is a lock on our files because the office is working on our files. I will wait by the end of the month and then if I don't hear news from CIC then I will ask my MP to talk to CIC.

Where did you hear it was a lock? The call center told me it was a tech issue.

a computer programmer told me that. computer programmers are familiar with databases. CIC is using databases also. May be this is the issue that the call center agent is talking about.
