I don't know if this would be appropriate if we bring this to knowledge of Government Officials. CIC officials always give standard reply they are processing. I don't know much about Canada, but in USA if people send email or contact government officials they take it very seriously. I guess applicants whose files are taking longer than processing times can do this. The most likely official to whom we can contact will be Immigration Minister. It would be more effective if maximum number of people email or fax him.

I don't see any problem with contacting government officials as long as we are polite.

Hey guys I have few questions..........

If I don't receive my GCMS Notes this week then what should I do? Is there someone I can contact?
I applied for my GCMS on December 7th but still I haven't received it. Last time I received my GCMS notes
after 25 days. Maybe it got delayed due to some holidays but I should have received it by now.

Also I am planning to contact my MP. Is it alright if I just send an email or should I visit the MP office?
Its hard to get time off from job during the day. What do you guys suggest?

I would just email the office of the MP because they will email you back. Don't bother going there in person if they have not asked you so. I think they will book an appointment for you and then you can explain the situation to them. I would not go to the office of an MP without an appointment. good luck.

Congrats!! I have a similar timeline. Was your file transferred in July 2012 to Ottawa?
