Odis, How long did it take for them to respond to you. I have sent them an email one month ago and haven't heard from them yet.
Sent them a little bit less than a month ago. Just got the reply today. Hope you hear something soon, or better yet the PPR ;)

just got GCMS notes,
looks like last update is July 7
primary office Ottawa
Secondary office Buffalo :o
group name: PR final review
security: not started .....
Criminality: In progress
Eligibility: Passed
Due date: 2012/07/01 :o

This wait is killing me, now medical has expired, not sure what is gonna happen next.

Fairly similar as myself. The next GCMS you will request will have updated date of the day your medical had expired ... I wonder when they will look at our files? If eligibility is passed, checks are done, how much longer is needed?

June 2011 applicant got PPR, file transferred in July 2012!

It's similar to my notes also. Eligibility passed and security and criminality checks are not started. Also, I am under the final review group. According to Ottawa, I am on a waiting list whatever it means.

Waiting list? Is that what they told you when you asked them?

That's what CIC told office of the MP in response to the inquiry about my case. I am on a waiting list. They also said it may take transferred applications yet another year (from the transfer date) to be completed. All I can do is get my GCMS notes once in a while to see the progress in processing my application. My medical exams will expire for the second time in May 2013. I hope before that day comes my application is finished.

Also, a friend of mine told me I should not email CIC to ask about my case anymore because it may delay the progress.

You mean your medicals will get expired in May 2013? It has been 5 months still quite a few of us are waiting. If they do plan to finish by July they should start issuing PPR soon. I do think they are working towards it but we havent really seen much from them. With december around the corner, we shouldnt expect much from them until next year I believe.

I guess we will be hearing around Feb 2013
Not sooner

Somehow bad luck continues

Hi Guys,

Thanks for taking your time in reading this.

I am BC PNP Applicant. My application was received by Federal CIC in March 2012. I am planning on having religious marriage with my fiance next week in Bangladesh, but my fiance does not want to have paper marriage at this time. She wants have a pilot relation for 2 years and then if things go well we will have official documented paper marriage. So for the next two years we will be in a relation without getting officially married.

My question is that next week when I have religious marriage ceremony do I have to inform CIC of my relationship status change ? regarding my in process PNP Application in Ottawa. Technically without having paper marriage I am still a single....as we are not going to have official documented marriage until next two years.

My fiance in in Bangladesh and Bangladeshi citizen.

Please help me

Thanks

My opinion is that based on the information you provided, you are not actually changing your status as you are not getting married. If your marital status changes then CIC needs to get informed.
