BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

Hello everyone,

I am an active reader of this threads but never posted any query coz I found all the answers I needed by browsing through the threads.
But today I am here with a question for which I haven't found any answer yet.
I applied under AINP in 2011.My Ecas says We received your application for permanent residence on March 22, 2012.
Medical results have been received.
I received a job offer from Edmonton but that never expedited my PR process.
All my emails to Ottawa about my job offer never received a reply.
I thought of applying for a work permit instead.
From CIC website states that, I may be exempt from LMO (labor market opinion) because I was nominated.
Could any one please confirm if I am eligible to receive work permit & temporary residence visa without LMO and what will be the procedure to do so?Any info about this issue is greatly appreciated.

Just a lil tensed here,
My spouses medical was issued and sent by seattle on the 17th of Spetember 2012,
They say they have sent it by mail to me ,
Till Date I have not recieved any medical from them
I tried mailing them, no response yet,
What am i suppose to do now?

go to cic.gc.ca... apply for work permit online if you are already inside canada...
scan your provincial nomination certificate, job offer letter, immigration medicals receipt (proof that you completed medicals) submit it online it will be done in 5-6 weeks i gues close to 40working days..
if you have letter from province then you dont need LMO.
go to CIC you will be able to do this from this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/index.asp

hi sharuu , since 10 days my adress has been changed in the ecas , now its my first adress in Montreal , i dont know why they did this and is it a good or a bad sign ???

I wouldnt think much about it.. if you hear something then great else dont think too much of it..

According to the GCMS notes the secondary visa office is Buffalo. the notes are generated on Aug. 15, 2012 and by then the last update on the file happened on July, 7, 2012. On that day, the file was electronically transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa and put under "PR-final review". the security and criminality status has been "NOT STARTED" since April 2011 and hasn't changed/updated even with the July, 7, 2012, update.

Nobody has looked at your file in Ottawa yet and Buffalo VO updated your file and pur you under PR FINAL REVIEW.

Apart from waiting, get GCMS and it will actually show when it was sent. I think get GCMS asap and around 1st week of November ask Seattle again.. There is not much that can be done other than wait.

Thank u very much for talking time to give reply.
I am on H1B in USA.I don't know whether I can apply online if I am outside Canada.
Could you let me know what is the procedure to file for work permit outside Canada with a nomination.
Could you please tell me what proof we will have with us for completing medicals.

My file has also been transferred to NY dated May 21, 2012 and still waiting for PPR.

difficult to say,....seems all random to me,..but one thing is sure,...Ottawa moves,...full ahead..even if its random...
