BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

Received GCMS notes today

Eligibility : passed
Criminality : passed
Medical: passed but expired
Visa officer assigned now, in my last GCMS no visa officer was assigned
Dua Date: 25 August,2012
Secondary Visa office : Detriot
Secondary Visa office created Date is : August 25 2010( I think they mistakenly put 2010 it should be 2012)

In notes it says that I (VO) didnt receive address of brother in law of PA (principle applicant) which was requested on 26 july, waiting to process PA and spouse BG checks....

I already sent them address 3 times -----they requestd me on 26 August and then i sent them ---again they requested me on 16 August and I sent them ---3 rd time the requested me same information on 11 Sept and i sent them again. id ont whts problem with them .......


By the way I noticed that whenever I emailed them after 26 July 2012 (date when file went in process) my email was responded by VO assigned) -----I noticed this from VO code Fm000XXX same in Visa officer assigned portion and in notes where email responses are mentioned ----that new thing for me that VO replying-----in one NOtes VISa officer wrote ----Today PA asked me Status of his file and responded him as follow---he pasted thr same email which he wrote me -------

Your file got transferred in May, after that when was the file updated and was it them saying about Meds and BG checks?

Giving your personal information for something thats not even accurate and does not correlate to anything significant .. Doesnt look attractive to me!

i think if its coming from google playstore then i should be "certified" spam virus free, no guarantee for anything. it looks alright. whether i got hidden spam on my pc,...or a dodgy app from google.... ;D it makes my day to check it once in a while...

There is a friend of mine who got PPR today.
He was a Nov 2011 Applicant, and Meds done April 2012.

I know its not the same case since its post-sept, but keeps you believe they are working.

What is the best way to notify CPP-O about something so they keep a note of it in my file. I have already sent them an email but they hardly reply, and even when they do it is not satisfactory.

Do you think sending a Fax is a better option than email. Any other options?

It depends on the information being provided! If an original document is required, then mail it. If not then email and order GCMS to see if the update has been made.

What is your timeline and when did your file got transferred to Ottawa? December 26 is the due date. So, it seems ottawa is giving 3 months

Yes, they sent me email on 16 August that my background checks and medical extension are two things left apparently. And same email visa officer pasted in GCMs notes as well-------after file transfer to ottawa, they contacted me on 26 july, then 16 august and then 11 sept asking me same question everytime to send my brother in law address----------according to GCMS they updated my file ( eligibilty passed, medical passed but expired, Criminality passed) on 26 july same date when my Ecas went in process-----then they started security Clearance screening for both of us on 2 August -----My file due date is on 26 August but thr is no activity on file on this date. My GCMS notes printed on 28 August and reeived yesterday

My OPNP was received by the federal government in Buffalo on June 21 2011, Medicals recieved in Nov 2011.

No updates on the website ever since. I sent an email to OPP (Ottawa) and they said they have my application.

I'm not sure what to do at this point and if my application is being processed.

My work permit is expiring in about 12 months and I'm not sure what to do at this point. Should I leave?

Hey

You are not the only one with the same situation.
Almost all of us here suffer from the same issue.

there is nothing we can really do about it at this time.
But 12 months, is a plenty of time. You (and We) should be getting it by then.
So no worries.

But you may ask for the notes, if you really want to know what is going on.
tough it would take 1 month at least

Due date: 9/9/2012!!!
