Why didnt you like toronto? If you come from a big city, most people like toronto. More opportunities more home like feeling for most people. Its very busy however and takes a lot of time to go anywhere else. Ottawa is a much smaller and quieter city with most government jobs over there..

Well. Everything is fine about Toronto, except that is quite serious a city, and not too much fun around the year.
I like the new and modern atmoshpehere, but montreal is much more fun for me and my wife.

but you know. Job will determine it for sure. french is a must here, and while i am not at zero at it, i dont know it well.

i dont even think to ottawa.

but Vancouver, i like to give it a try.

Have you gotten GCMS Notes lately or contacted MP? Its nearly 19 months now.. My timeline is the same as yours.

I have contacted MP couple times but didn't get anything from them :(
Don't know if there is anything that we can do except waiting. so frustrating.

Did you try getting GCMS ? I think we should get something before year end. It has already been 3 months since our files got transferred. Shouldnt take more than 4-5 months for them to start processing.

I have never been to Montreal but it must be fun. I think Calgary has quite a few things to do, specially during Stampede and the you can drive around Banff - its a beautiful sight actually! I dont know french so I dont think I can even get around haha..

Ottawa is a smaller city, mostly government jobs. Vancouver is pretty big city, beautiful also but expensive as well.

I haven't done that. dunno how useful it is. any thoughts?

If we see the trend in other visa offices or May 06/16 transfer cases they already got PPR (my guess). So it seems it takes 4/5 months to get PPR, and OCT-NOV could be decent time frame. Also isn't it rational to think they will process it within 3 months after the medical expired? New medical will eventually delay the process 2/3 more months, which seems unlikely.

It provides you details about your clarity in regard to your due dates and any comments made by the VO. Didnt they ask you for your police certificate? I think that was a few months ago..

Thats what I mentioned earlier, the reason 3 months extension is given that they would like to finalise the case before the 3 month period. So, maximum time should be 3 months from your medical expiry. As I see most are sep medicals applicants, we should be hearing something before year end!

I think you are very near, with so many november applicants getting PPR, I think October is a good month for you to get it.

we'll see. :) a personal dead line for me is 2nd october for ppr (private reasons... )
