BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

looking at the trend...i think CEC are processed on priority as to PNP. And I thought it was the oppposite when i applied

The applicants who got PPR today, one is Nov '11 and other one is Jan 2012!! I am yet to understand why our files have not been finalised yet. To think of it, more work needs to finalise CEC than PNP. PNP applicants have already had their education and experience assessed and all that needs to be checked is medical and security? So, why PNP takes longer?

Exactly PNP's are preassesed...I wonder why are we not on priority? Why cant they just concentrate on the backlogs (march-june 2011 applicant)

I think this might have happened.. Nov applicants applied to sydney who transferred their files in mar-apr and we got transferred in may-june. That is why they are above us in queue and getting PPR ... Most of us are either reaching the 15 month mark or have already crossed it.

ONE GUY received PPr FROM OTTAWA today and he is asked to submit passport to detriot---he is CEC

When did they start processing your file according to ECAS?

Thats what I say to myself every weekend.. it seems everything is in a standstill. Not many PPRs too

I dont think address re appear and disappear has anything to do with you getting PPR... My address disappeared on JAN 27, along with everyone else and came back sometime in june, just like most applicants. It could be a technical glitch and nothing else!

Thanks sharuu... but I'm confused which one to choose on the form:

1. Access to Information Act or Privacy Act?
2. Electronic Files or Physical Files? Which one within them should I select? Status of an application, Immigration file, temporary residence, medical file, etc... should I select all?

My ecas status still says:

"We received your application for permanent residence on February xx, 2012.

Medical results have been received. "

Did you end up applying for GCMS Notes?

hi guys, i don't think all files that applied between mar to may 2011, are transferring in the month of June. i think those are transferred already in APR and May. because one of my friend ,who applied in APR 2011 contacted buffalo office on last week of the may. they replied like file is transferred to Seattle one month before. that means some time in April. so i could say all files who are applied in Mar to APR, should be at USA visa offices because mine is in Seattle too.

I contacted my MP last week to contact Ottawa in regard to the status of my application. I was told my file is in transit between Buffalo and Ottawa. My ECAS says they started processing my file on May 14th, well in 6 weeks my file has not been transferred yet??
