Me too I'm close to the 16 month mark.
But the worst part is that I work in the film industry in Saskatchewan and after the cut of the SEFTC (Saskatchewan Employment Film tax credit) by the provincial government. My company will be forced to laid off people. I'm sure I am in that list because I'm the newest one in this company. So, in this moment I'm freaking out to get any news regarding to immigration.

What is your timeline and ECAS Status? I hope it shouldnt take that long and should hear something soon. There is no point in stressing out and the only thing that can be done is wait.

I know there is no point to be stressed but I feel If I get laid off i will lose everything that I had build living those 4 years in Canada.

My status on ECAS is: application received on April 7, 2011 and medical results have been received. And my address re-appeared 2 weeks ago.

I know why you are concerned, I would suggest applying for your GCMS Notes to get a better idea about your case. Cases are in midst of being transferred from Buffalo and Ottawa so that is why there is a delay. Hang in there and hopefully everything will work out fine :)

Is there a website or something to get those notes?
Thanks :D

Hi chimbombo. I totally understand what the pressure must be like -- to be in the job by the time you get your PR. Just as a suggestion, though... and also so you don't have to worry too much: if all else fails, there's the Canadian Experience Class you can apply for. Have you thought about it?

Hello unaseem
you seemed to be very near the 14/15 month processing time for buffalo. I know buffalo is closed and everything but your case was with them for more than 80% of the time.
Did you try mentioning to the Ottawa-CPO that you're already close to 14/15 month mark?

hello sharuu

1. just wondering..when did you had your medical done??

2. the medical results are valid for only one year. If the processing takes very long and it ends invalidating the medical results, Do you know if the ottawa office will email the applicant new forms, to do another medical exam??

1. Mid Septmber

2. Even though the medical is valid for 1 year, i think they give extensions to INLAND Applicants. I dont think expiring for medicals should be an issue and if they do want another medical they will send you the forms.

@student3000

Shuru is right since everyone is getting same standard reply so i thought to wait until end of july ------
