Ok, when I checked back on the tracking number of my passport return envelop yesterday morning, it showed it got activated tuesday night. The passport got delivered at around 2 pm yesterday, I drove down to nearest border at around 7pm and completed our landing. It took only 5 mins to land ! After 28 months of waiting, it took only 5 mins!!!!!!!! Well, finally its over, can have a sigh of relief now !

and what documents do they need for landing.

I am waiting for my passport which should be next week. I sent them on the 6th.

Hi,
No, I didn't land in quebec, I did at Sarnia-Michigan border (Blue water bridge). I took a lot of papers with me but they didnt ask for anything. You will get a landing document, the immigration officer just took it, signed it, asked us two questions from the document ( do we have any arrest recodrd and do we have any other dependent) and just asked us to sign the document, thats it! I've heard they ask for bank statement, proof of employment etc. but didnt ask for any papers from us.
