You and I almost have simillar timeline, i applied on 7th December 2010 and my file is undergoing BG checks. Is your file undergoing same procedure?

last time I checked (last month), my BG checks are not even started yet. That's what I have heard from the office of the MP and the GCMS notes confirm it. Security and criminality keys are "NOT STARTED". but eligibility is passed and medical is expired but it is extended till may 2013.

How did you know your medicals are extended up unti May 2013?

Hey sharuu,
do you think that granting PR to the PNP applicants, every province can be granted a certain number of residencies per year?
maybe thats why QSW and ontario PNP guys are getting PPR and none from saskatchewan I think.
whats ur opinion?

Cheers!!!

I do agree on that part.. At a certain level, job requirements and lack of skilled labour is attracting PNP applicants. But having said that, it usually affects only at provincial level and not at federal level. I think for federal quota system is for FSW and CEC and other cateogories and not PNP. At a provincial level, certificates can be issued by quota system

I am talking after issuing certificates on provincial levels, let me clarify, lets say for 2012, CIC has already granted PPR to the 'n' number of applicants from saskatchewan, which means the cap is reached for ths province only, but the cap(maximum number) for other provinces are yet to be reached so they are granting ppr to them but not to the applicants from saskatchewan. :'(

That's weird, how did you know they did BG checks on your file... Usually BG check is the last step for in-land applicants.

Yes. We have heard of numbers of PRs lately. I really hope this will be the trend for the remaining part of the year...

Sharuu. I miss you when you are not visible these days.
It is really good to see you around.

Take good care.
