If no name then it means you havent been assigned a group and also a VO hasnt been assigned. In other words, Ottawa hasnt looked at your file since they received it.

Hi Sharuu

Yes I suposed they haven't seen my file because this GCMS notes are from July 12. That means 5 days later than my file got transferred.

According to Curious his file's due date is October 4th and assuming he got transferred on July as well, I would say watch for October. It seems its taking them 3 months to get to your file. It shouldnt be much longer and I think your ECAS should turn to In Progress in October.

I don't really know. I think I'm a Foreign Student with job offer. Well at least I studied here in Saskatchewan for one year. When I was in school I did my work experience in a company and then they hired me. Since then I have been working here for more than 2 years.

In your provincial nomination certificate, have they mentioned the employment and company name?

I think he applied under the Student category, which should contain the employer name.

Check with province for any changes in your employment status. If you are foreign student with job offer that means your PNP is only valid for current employer only.

Paper File history - you should find it over there and whats your primary and secondary office. If you applied to Buffalo then they have to transfer you to somewhere else..

I think your file always remained in Ottawa, I just saw you are a november applicant so this shouldnt be in your case. The good thing is they have allocated you to detroit. Its just a matter of time when they look at your file. Just be patient and it shouldnt be much longer.

Do you mean the letter that SINP send when your application has been approved?

Well I got two letters one to extend my work permit and the other one to send to Buffalo with the application package.

The one they send me to extend my work permit had the name of the company, but the one for Buffalo only had my NOC number. In any part they mention the name of the company where i work.

Sorry I am confused- "In any part they mention the name of the company where i work". So in provincial certificate they mentioned the name of the company? If not than you are just bind with the work permit. So if you are not working your permit will be invalid? If not then I don't see why it would be a problem. Is it possible to post the content in this thread hiding your information?

Hi Curt

In the provincial certificate they didn't mention my employee but my NOC. And I have a close work permit to my company until July 6, 2013.

I will try to post the letter later on, coz now I'm at work.

Not true, he is bound by his employer if he used that letter to extend the work permit. If you have a work permit which allows only to work for a particular employer then you can only for that employer. In regard to them asking for a reference letter, well Ottawa hasnt been doing it but they might ask for additional documents, if needed.

I think most of the November files got transferred around March or April. I sent an email to Buffalo in early April and was informed that my file was transferred to Ottawa. And a month later I got AOR.
