My full documents were received at the Buffalo Consulate on 29 March 2010 (3 months back). I haven't received AOR from them. Is it normal? When can I expect it?

My full documents were received at the Buffalo Consulate on 29 March 2010 (3 months back). I haven't received AOR from them. Is it normal? When can I expect it?

Yes, in some cases at Buffalo it is normal, and does not mean that there is any problems. I know that the usual waiting time for the AOR from Buffalo is almost one month, but sometimes for unknown reasons they delay the AOR.

Anyway, keep checking your e-case status, whenever it changes to "Received by the visa office", it means that they have created your file on their system and entered your information even if they have not sent you the AOR yet.

There were actually 2 cases in this forum where the e-case changed to "Received by the visa office" without receiving AOR at all.

Hello Anne55,

No change for me. e-CAS still shows CIO, NS appoval only. I have sent three follow-up mails in the last two months and got auto-replies only. This wait is becoming inreasingly frustrating. I guess, I need to consult Paul-the famous octopus (FIFA) to make a prediction for me as Buffalo is not reacting.
