Hi guys,

A couple of questions for senior member;

If I decide to get the vis stamped in person upon receipt of PPR, how long does it take to make an appointment?
Secondly, we sent complete documents over a year a go. I know we have to provide fresh financial statements etc. But do I also need a new police clearance?

Thanks

Atif

They have asked me for financial statement again, if you live in US then they might ask you for an updated FBI report but I can see they haven't ask Small duck and me for PCC. Hopefully you will get PPR soon, I will advice you to send them an email regarding status of your app, couple of people got PPR in reply of their query. Good luck

I have to submit 2 police certifications (2 FBI and 2 police at home country) through the whole process. These PCCs cannot be expired before you get the Immigration Visa.
And one more deadline you guys know already, Med Exam cannot be expired before you finish landing (which will be showed on Visa).
I don't have any problem with funding statement, shouldn't be a problem if you have enough money in the Deposit account.

Hello friends,

The lightening has struck!

I got my passport request via email today. They have not asked for any additional documents , just the RFP.

Thanks to all forum members for their support especially ZulkFal and Little duck.

I will take the new financial documents but I am concern about 2 things:

1. My FBi clearance is dated March 7, 2010. The passport submission deadline is July 15th. Do I need new PCC.
2. While my wife is in US, I have been living in Singapore since November 2010. Singapore police does not issue PCC to foreigners. There is a notarized letter that applicants use here. Any idea how do I go about it?

It is such a big relief..

good luck to you all..!

By the way, i plan to drive down to buffalo next week when I am in US.

Atif
