update on the FBI app mail ... the usps track page says "delivered" ... all weekend i kept thinking it was a mistake sending it through certified mail (cz it requires signature at the receiver's end) but it's all good ...

I have been waiting too long and I can't suffer NYVO anymore. After sending an inquiry email to them, they reply me as you guys see below
"
Please be advised that we require no further information from you at this time. Your requirements have all been met and your file is in process. We ask that you await our instructions before requesting any further information.

Thank you for your interest in Canada.
"

I don't know what's gonna happen next other than the PPR. Anybody in the same situation??

Most of us are still waiting for medical request... Thanks for sharing your experience.... Seems we also need to wait quietly...

Hope tomorrow we will get some updates here. :D

NO updates .... :(

Hi All,

First of all, no offence to the people who posted on the link below, but cautious about the time lines. If you click on their names, you will see their time lines. For the first person, it makes sense to me, but the second and the third??? what is buffalo doing?

My status still shows "RCVO" since socond AOR on Apr 27, 2010. I have sent them case specific inquiry a couple months ago, but there has not been any word back.

patiently wait, :D

Even I sent CSI in Nov. 2010, still not reply and I am not waiting for reply any more.
If I am not wrong, Buffalo or any othere VO, does not process application on First in first out (FIFO) bases.
If I am not wrong, they process (prioritize) as per FSW (1, 2, 3) + NOC (?). there are always internal memos in every organisation, instructions for prioritizing the work.

This is just wild guess, seniors may correct me.

@smallduck and other who have done medicals already,

the visa validity is for one year after medicals (assuming passport doesn't expire) ... does that one year start from "medicals done"? or "medicals rcvd"? or some date in between?

e.g., in smallduck's case would it be Sep 15, 2011? or Nov 16, 2011?

yes may be you are right, there would be some internal screening.
Well if any one has idea what is the priority sequence at visa office while processing the file .... the day when file was recieved by visa office or from the day of 2nd AOR.As many of us had 2nd AOR with quite a delay of few months however files are transferedd to visa offices in the priority they are recieved.

Thanks

I don't know if it's true or not, but this is what I found:

C50 Initial Eligibility Determination: Review of the preliminary application received at CIO Sydney. A positive decision regarding eligibility for processing (Paper-screening decision “4”) results in the electronic transfer of the application to the responsible visa office abroad. The date of this decision constitutes the lock-in date for processing. Processing time service standards are calculated from this date.

CIC site with following link shows that processing timelines are given based on receipt of a complete application package at VO. But you can't say anything about unpredictible Buffalo VO.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed.asp#west

Americas Visa Office Processing Times IN MONTHS
