but the problem with me is that I am on closed work permit I can not find a new job. Even I can't live here once my project is over. Now its all in God hand what he has decided for me.

although my ecas status has changed to "in process" at the end of June, it looks like nothing has changed for me.
I requested CAIPS by August and have just received it. It's still only the age points, and the medicals, since we've done it in advance.
And the second and more upsetting thing is that annoying email I received from CIC, like some others did:

"CIC is working to closely manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration levels plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories than room within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must stagger the review of applications throughout the year.

We do not anticipate that we will begin to process federal skilled worker applications from December 2009 during the current calendar year. "

hi burcu. your case is similar with me. my status changed on jan 26 2011, but on sept5 i got my caips and its same as yours. moreover in june buffalo replied to my email that your file is in process but now they replied as you got only the last para changed i.e from Feb 2010. i think they won't give us the insight picture instead of that they are giving us standard reply. day by day frustration is increasing.

Thats a gud thinh u told me. But last year when I started searching some agency told me that its not possible. No comp will hire and go through these process. Can you tell me how to start finding a comp who can wait for 2-3 month i think gettilng lmo and wp will take 3 months time. I heard that canadian company won't wait for 3 months give me some insight.

Ur best bet is with fast food look at www.kijiji.ca and which ever city ur in.... type lmo or foreign worker.... so go to any fast food place and ask if they have lmo.

Just got an email from buffalo today: they have transferred my file to Seattle for "faster processing", it also says that No status update inquiries should be made in the next 90 days. Any further correspondence will be with Seattle and not Buffalo henceforth. :-\
