I hope we all will be posting that good news soon as I think Buffalo started moving. At least I think so because I heard some fellows here and there got their ppr these days.

My medical has been received by the mailing room in Ottawa today.

What happens after Ottawa and when I am not sure, I have been advised it can take upto 5 months.

Anyone else has opinion or a thread you guys can point me to?

After one year exact after filing for FSW (0213). They requested additional documents and no medical yet.

Application Date: Nov. 7 2008
AOR: Feb 2009
Additional Documents: Letter dated Nov. 6,2009
Asking for 1. Tax Year 2007 & 2008
2. Proof of Funds

I suspect it will take another year to ask for medical. Or deny me at this point (which dont care rat's ... . I hope this been helpful to those are in same boat as I.

Whey you were saying tha buffola started moving, did you also include those cases that were transferred to local consulate (i.e. New York city)? Why some of our files are transferred to local consulate for expediting? But it actually is not that fast processing as we see.

well we dont know. it might go faster than otherwise if it hadnt been sent to other offices.

They told me to contact them after a year if I havent heard back from them. I have about a month and a half to go.

probably to see if they have lost my app or not. no medic request. not even eligibility review at the visa office.

sorry to hear that.Why do n't you order caips notes to find out the reasons?

I dont think anyone who applied when i did have gotten medical request. So now use for caips just yet. Also its not so urgent to have PR yet but would be good to have it so i can look for jobs there i guess.

My thought s are the same rupesh, to look for jobs. The frustrating part is that a yea have gone by and no medical. so kiss good bye that 6 months to a year fast track bs. Anyhow.. my two cents.

oh i thought you were in canada. i think 6 to 12 months is the target. It was never going to happen like that overnight. I guess it would have if buffalo processed post-dec applicants before the feb-dec applicants but then someone else will cry foul. It will come soon. Dont worry. good luck man.

Have applied in Oct 2008. I have sent my PP for stamping on 3rd Dec. Hpefully will get the visa stamped PP back by this year end or early Jan.
