Hello Bryanna and Scylla. Please help me I need your valuable advices. I am planning to apply for a visitor visa to Canada in order to visit my mother's grave.
Here's some background information: In 2012, I applied for immigration to Canada alongside my mother as a dependent child. Unfortunately, my application was rejected while my mother's was approved, so I was unable to accompany her. After residing in Canada for three and a half years, my mother fell seriously ill and was given a limited time to live by the doctors. Regrettably, I couldn't be with her during her final moments due to being pregnant and advised against traveling. She passed away in 2021, and now I have a strong desire to visit her grave, if only once, for my own inner peace.
My concern is whether my previous immigration attempt to Canada will have any impact on the decision regarding my visitor visa application if I decide to proceed with it.
