Brother in Canada

I have a brother who is a PR in Canada since 2001. We're planning to apply but my wife will be the principal applicant because she has higher points than me. She's a registered nurse for more than 10 years now and I have a bachelor's degree too. Will she get additional 5 points for Adaptability factor as I have a brother in Canada?

Yes, any one of you having a relative in Canada, means extra 5 points.

Thanks a lot, Cool! So, we'll get 68 points assuming 8 points for Language - 2 points each for English listening, speaking, reading and writing. If she will take an IELTS, what score she should get at least? Do you think we should try applying now? We both have permanent jobs right now.

We are both Filipinos. My wife is a Registered Nurse in Singapore and I'm working in Saudi Arabia. Both of us have been working for more than 10 years now.
