Bringing kids to Toronto US consulate

Hi there,
My spouse and I booked interview together for h1/h4 but we don't know anybody in Toronto who could look after our 7-year-old. Anybody has experience bringing kid (US Citizen) into the Toronto consulate?
I emailed the consulate but didn't get a straight no/yes.

Think you should be ok but bring quiet non-electronic things to play with. My friend had to hide her apple watch in a bush since she had left phone at home but had forgotten the watch. You know your child the best. If they can colour quietly in the corner or do something like legos for a few hours you should be fine. If you are staying in a hotel you can usually organize childcare there.
