Do I need to bring CASH as proof of fund on my first arrival?

What are the options to bring Proof of funds to Canada on the first Arrival?

Can I use an online money transfer website to transfer money to my bank account (assuming after landing I will apply for SIN and open a bank account)

Welcome to Canada,

First of all no one ask for the money but if you are bringing in more than 10K CAD let the officers know same for any food or herbs. You can use Travellers check, Bank Statement or Transfer into Canada Later on. Dont worry about the Money at all just bring whatever you think necessary for 2-3 Months that's it.
