Bridging open work permit

Hello,

I am in the process for my PR. I submitted the application in August and my work visa is expiring in a couple of weeks.
I need to apply for bridging open work permit.I do have a question.
do I need to apply for BOWP and TRV together? I am expecting the decision on my application this month itself. I was wondering if I can skip the trv application. will it have any affect on my application?

Just the BOWP. You don't need a TRV.
