My husband applied for a bridge work permit a few weeks ago and it was approved, But then we realized that they did not extend the work permit and issued the exact same time remained from his current work permit (two months). Anyone ever had the same problem?
We called CIC and they said the file was correct but it was the officer's decision and there is nothing to do and we should apply again and this time we may get an extension!
The only reason that comes to our mind is that my husband's answer to the question of "till when you are going to work in your current job" might be the reason! he answered based on the remaining time of his previous permit (two months)
Should we change the answer to a year or two to get more time on permit?
