Hi,

Has anyone applied for the new bridging visa which is applicable since Jan 2013? If so, how do you apply? I need to send in an application with my CEC application. I also need to send in an application to extend my work visa which will ultimately get refused but I will be on implied status, so doesn't this mean I can work under the same conditions as my current visa until I get refused?

Information on applying for the BOWP -
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob485.asp

Work permit applications do not go to the same place as PR applications, and in any case, you have to apply for CEC and receive your AOR before you are eligible to apply for the BOWP.
