Hello everyone,

My work permit will expire in less than 4 months and I'm getting everything ready to apply for a BOWP.

Got my AOR in September 2012, PCC request in January 2013 and my application says In Process (ecas)

I have to fill this eligibility questionnaire to apply online and I'm not sure what to answer for the question below:

"Do I have a written job offer?"

I am currently employed? Been with this company for about 9 months.

Do I say "NO" and then add an additional document with my application saying I'm currently employed and a copy of paystubs?

Or I say "YES" and provide the written job offer when I started working with this company?

Thanks in advance

I was advided to do not fill up the prospective's job part. I left all blank and said that I don't have a job offer.

It's an Open Work Permit. Don't mention the job offer, don't include any specific employer details at all since that might mislead the case officer to thinking you need LMO and therefore closed work permit.

Hi Karioca, thanks for the prompt response.

I'm doing the online questionnaire required to apply online. If I leave that question blank, when I click Next I get a message saying that I have not completed all the mandatory fields or I have not completed them correctly; therefore I can't continue without choosing yes or no :(

When I go to MyCIC and I click on Apply Online, it says this:

"If you have already completed the Come to Canada wizard on the CIC website, you would have received a document checklist and a personal checklist code, based on the answers you provided"

There's a link that says:

Determine your eligibility and apply online

I can't go pass that If I don't complete the questionnaire.

On the questionnaire menu there are 5 steps

1. Identification
2. Upload documents
3. Review application
4. Payment
5. Application submitted

Anybody has been through this before when applying online?

Complete it, just say you don't have one.

Yes, you need to complete the questionnaire. And it's important that you mention that you have applied for PR and you have received first approval, what it can be the AOR

Thanks for info everyone!
Greatly appreciated :)

Hello, I’m currently working with an employer since 2 years who gave me lmia and I’m on pgwp but my pgwp will expire soon. I got the AOR and will apply for bridging open work permit however one questionnaire is saying for do I have a written open work permit? Shall I answer yes or no?
if I answer yes do I have to submit all the documents related to lmia, offer of employment and references letter?
Or just no ?
