I applied for my BOWP on 27th July 2021.
BOWP got approved on 26th October 2021 after exactly 92 days.
The validity of BOWP is for 2 years.
Hope to get the PR soon too. Have been waiting for 2 years now.

I received the email the day after. Haven't received the paper permit in the mail yet, but in the Portal it says valid for 2 years.

Have you applied for Quebec based PR?

You can have CEC with PNP. Another possiblity is Quebec one QSWP.

Just ask him if he is having any one of these.
